HOINA - Homes of the Indian Nation
HOINA
is a haven for abandoned, orphaned, abused, and handicapped
children in South India. HOINA houses, feeds, clothes, and
educates children from infancy to adulthood, providing medical
care and training them for careers. HOINA's goal is to develop
successful, productive, responsible members of society.
You may participate in a HOINA interest group during the academic year to produce a Web site, send packages, learn about India, and prepare for summer service or research at HOINA where you may work with Penn State distinguished alumna, Darlene Large, the founder of HOINA.
